Council meetings are held at least two Tuesdays a month at 7 p.m., Council Chambers, 456 W. Olive Ave.

Council meetings are:

Televised on the City's government access cable TV channel (AT&T channel 99 and Comcast channel 15). They are replayed Wednesdays at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sundays at 4 p.m.
Broadcast on the Sunnyvale City Clerk YouTube Channel
Streamed online (Legistar system)

Special Accommodations for Council Meetings

Call the City Clerk's Office at 408-730-7483 prior to the meeting if you require a translator, are visually or hearing-impaired, or have any disability that requires special assistance. Assistive listening devices are also available for use during the meeting. Please call us 48 hours before the meeting with any special needs.

How to Address Council

The following details the process on how to address the Council:

Fill out a speaker card at the back of Council Chambers and hand it to the City Clerk.
The Mayor will call speakers to the lectern at the appropriate time.
Speakers are limited to three minutes.
The public may address Council on issues not on the agenda during the Oral Communications section at the beginning of the meeting. Any necessary Council action may be placed on a future agenda for full public consideration. Be aware that the Brown Act (Open Meeting Law) does not allow the Council to take action on an item not listed on the agenda.
