Pursuant to State legislation ABx1 26, the "Dissolution Act," the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) of the City of Sunnyvale was dissolved effective Feb. 1, 2012. The City elected to become the Redevelopment Successor Agency (RSA), responsible for winding down the affairs of the former RDA.
The Dissolution Act further required each former RDA to prepare an Enforceable Obligation Payment Schedule (EOPS). The former RDA adopted the required EOPS and subsequent Amended EOPS.
Oversight Board
The Oversight Board has a fiduciary responsibility to the holders of Enforceable Obligations and the taxing entities that benefit from distributions of property tax and other revenues. Commencing July 1, 2018, the Oversight Board was consolidated into a single, countywide Oversight Board.

EOPS
On August 23, 2011, the former RDA adopted a resolution approving the Enforceable Obligation Payment Schedule (EOPS). The EOPS identifies debt service and other payments that the RDA must make through December 2011.
The RSA, at a public meeting of the RSA Board on April 24, 2012, approved and adopted an amendment to the EOPS in the form an Amended Enforceable Obligation Payment schedule (Amended EOPS). The amendments contained in the Amended EOPS include extending the payment schedule for Enforceable Obligations to additionally cover the months of January through June 2012.
