Public Art – Ragini Prasad, Tree of Life – Abundance
This large canvas features the Madhubani style of painting and was inspired by the native oak trees of Sunnyvale. The artist used natural dyes and pigments.
Fun Facts
- Look north (toward West Olive Avenue) to see the Libby’s Water Tower and Sunnyvale’s downtown.
- The redwood conference room tables and lobby area tables were made from reclaimed wood from some of the redwood trees taken down during construction.
- We preserved most of the existing trees on the site and planted 188 new ones as part of Phase 1. We now have almost 30% more trees on the property.
Points of Interest
- Mayor’s Office: The Mayor’s office will feature rotating art pieces from the Sunnyvale Art Club.
- Nature Theme: All the conference and meeting rooms are named after tree varieties.
